Cell-Phone Exports Up in Quantity & Down in Price in Jan.-July 2012

Attention Rcvd:: According to the statistics by China Customs, from January to July 2012, Fujian Province totally exported 2,200,000 cell phones, with a value of USD 69.29 million, respectively up 17.7% year-on-year and down 13.2% year-on-year; the average export price was USD 31.5 each, down 3.8% year-on-year.

1. Main causes of cell-phone exports up in quantity & down in price at present:

The great number of mobile users in the world supported the demands in mobile market. China, taking up nearly 80% of global cellphone production, its cellphone exports greatly fluctuated with the rise and decline in the world. The export price slightly dropped when expanding the cell-phone exports in Fujian Province, making less industrial profit as well as negative effects on the following-up development of the whole industry.
